Hey y’all! Back on the blog today to start a new creative habit—playlists!

If there’s one thing I’ve always loved, it’s creating a vibe. Choosing music is a huge part of that, so I’ve decided to push myself to create new vibes and moods for our homes every week.

I’m excited to share more of my favorite songs & artists, and also to force myself to seek out new tracks— my typical habit is to listen to the same songs over and over again. Prepare for lots of groovy soul, some acoustic guitar, deep cuts and classic favorites all mixed together for what I hope is a delightful little blend.

First up: Tender. This playlist comes from the Fall of 2019, pre-pandemic when life was a little more simple.

There’s plenty of space for your feelings here in this sweet playlist featuring some of my favorite artists, including Joseph, Michael Kiwanuka, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and Clairo. I usually have one (or all) of these artists playing in my apartment, and love these songs specifically for the mood that they set and the welcoming nature of the lyrics.
